You say potato...

Clearly the days of having some young media lacky check for continuity are finished. Over at the Daily Telegraph, in their dedicated climate change news section (which Im having a bit of trouble even believing they have) they are running two stories side by side.
One story is about how marine biologists are desperately trumpeting that waters are warming on the east coast of Australia, with predictably catastrophic predictions ensuing. (did y'see what I did there?)
The other is an article about how the 3km open water swim at the World Master's Games was cancelled in Sydney because the water was too cold.

    Paua,
I just read through your blog, how right you are.
Australia needs about another one or two million women like you.
I'm an old engineer and during my life time I have seen the unbraving of men by feminists and PC correctness. It is time for women to stand up and be brave and try and correct the madness of the past and the present. You are one of them, thank you. Wayne

  3. I second Wayne.

The amount of crap my kids are being taught at school is horrifying.

I'm a (male but dont hold that against me) engineer as well. Climate Crap is being taught in schools as part of the SOSE (Studies of Society and Environment) curriculum by people qualified to teach english or history. They have NO scientific knowledge at all, and in fact don't try to teach any science. Its all just "this is bad, this is what needs to be done" with no thought or rational analysis.

Sadly most of those sucked in, and doing the teaching of this drivel, are female.
